1. General
The Bayswater Assured Service Plan (“Service Plan”) is provided by Bayswater Vehicle Group and applies only to the vehicle specified at the time of purchase. The Service Plan is non-transferable unless otherwise agreed in writing by Bayswater Vehicle Group.
2. Eligibility
The Service Plan is available for selected used vehicles only and must be purchased at the time of vehicle sale or within a period approved by Bayswater Vehicle Group.
3. Inclusions
The Service Plan covers scheduled servicing for a period of three (3) years from the date of activation, including:
Engine oil and oil filter (including filter gaskets)
Standard service consumables
Windscreen washer additive
A comprehensive vehicle safety inspection and report
The Service Plan also includes:
Three (3) Warrant of Fitness (WOF) inspections
Loan vehicle use, subject to availability and advance booking
4. Service Requirements
All services must:
Be carried out at an authorised Bayswater Vehicle Group service department
Be completed in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and timeframes
Failure to adhere to these requirements may result in the Service Plan being voided.
5. Exclusions
The Service Plan does not cover:
Items subject to normal wear and tear, including but not limited to tyres, brake pads, brake discs, shocks, batteries, wiper blades, and clutch components
Additional repairs or parts required outside of standard scheduled servicing
Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accidents, or failure to maintain the vehicle
Any additional work identified during servicing will be quoted separately and must be approved by the customer prior to commencement.
6. Non-Warranty Statement
The Service Plan is a prepaid maintenance program only and does not constitute an extended mechanical warranty, insurance policy, or guarantee against mechanical failure.
7. Cancellation & Refunds
The Service Plan is non-refundable once activated, except where required under applicable consumer laws. Any refund requests prior to activation are at the sole discretion of Bayswater Vehicle Group.
8. Transferability
The Service Plan is non-transferable to another vehicle. Transfer to a new owner of the same vehicle may be permitted at the discretion of Bayswater Vehicle Group.
9. Availability
Loan vehicles are subject to availability and must be booked in advance. Bayswater Vehicle Group does not guarantee availability at all times.
10. Changes to Terms
Bayswater Vehicle Group reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time, provided that such changes do not materially reduce the benefits already purchased by the customer.
11. Consumer Guarantees
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions limits or excludes your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or any other applicable New Zealand consumer law.
