3 ways to charge test

1. In-Cable Control Box (ICCB) charging cable (25 hours to 100%*)

Recharge your IONIQ practically anywhere. It's designed to connect to a standard 3 PIN wall socket and will recharge IONIQ using household AC current.

2. Fast Charge Wall Box 7.2 kWh (6 hours to 100%*)

The optional accessory wall box for your household improves charge times by utilising a high amperage power supply.

3. Public Fast Charging Station (57 minutes to 80% charge*)

The fastest way to charge your IONIQ. Utilising a powerful DC charging unit, the rapid charger offers a fast and convenient solution to those out on the road.

* Charging times for the high voltage battery may vary as it is dependent on the condition of the high voltage battery, charger specifications and battery & ambient air temperature.

ACTIVE AIRFLOW SYSTEM

The aerodynamic grille discretely incorporates cooling flaps which automatically close and open as required.

IONIQ POWERTRAIN

Under IONIQ's bonnet is an 100kW electric motor coupled to a direct drive reduction gearbox, all governed by an EPCU and because the IONIQ EV has a 100% electric motor it means that it generates absolutely zero driving emissions.

311 KM RANGE

With a 100kW electric motor connected to a fully-charged 38.3kWh lithium-ion polymer battery, the IONIQ Electric gives you a range of up to 311 km (WLTP) on a single charge, with zero emissions./p>

7-AIRBAG SYSTEM

Enjoy complete protection thanks to 7-airbags: a pair of front airbags for both front occupants and a knee airbag for the driver. A pair of side airbags (front only) and full-length curtain airbags defend against side collisions.

ADVANCED HIGH-STRENGTH STEEL

The usage of advanced high-strength steel alloy has been expanded to 53 percent of the body structure. To attain unprecedented levels of structural rigidity, critical components were fabricated using advanced hot stamping technology.

Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA)

The FCA system automatically alerts and applies the brakes if the path ahead is suddenly obstructed by other vehicles or pedestrians.

Blind-Spot Collision Warning (BCW)

BCW alerts the driver about vehicles in their blind spots or vehicles approaching the rear of the car at high speeds. (Elite model only)

Lane Keepin Assist (LKA)

LKA uses the front camera to detect lanes and helps prevent the vehicle from steering from the lane by adjusting the steering wheel position.

Smart Cruise Control (SCC)

Utilising radar technology the SCC automatically maintains a safe speed and distance to the car ahead. (Elite model only)

Touchscreen Audio System

Connect your mobile device using Apple CarPlay® or Android Auto®, and via the touch screen on the dashboard, you can safely enjoy many of your mobile’s features, including using Siri, calling, texting and listening to your music.

Wireless Smartphone Charging

Advanced induction technology on Elite models lets you recharge your smartphone without connecting cables (compatible phone models only), and an alert is triggered should you ever leave your phone behind.

Power Driver's Seat

The electronically-controlled driver's seat on the Elite model features 8-way adjustment plus 2-way lumbar support. This is paired with a 2-position memory system, useful for multiple drivers.

Satellite Navigation

Make your journey even easier by inputting your destination into the inbuilt satellite navigation system on the 10.25” touchscreen. It’s loaded with HERE MAPS of New Zealand’s streets, and incorporates up-to-the minute SUNA™ GPS live traffic updates, which enable the system to divert you around any congestion. Front Heated Seats and Steering Wheel

IONIQ Elite models feature heated front seats to ensure that you stay warm where ever you go. A heated steering wheel is also included for those extra chilly mornings.

LED Headlights and Daytime Running Lights (DRL)

LED headlights project a significantly brighter and longer beam without causing glare for oncoming drivers. These are backed up by LED Daytime Running Lights providing visibility to other road users in all conditions. (LED headlights on Elite model only)
