ALERT LEVEL 2 OPERATIONS SUMMARY
Vehicle Service and Repair
Bayswater Service Centres are OPEN FOR BUSINESS for all vehicle service, repair and WOF inspections. While we are open, our business operations will not be as normal, as we continue to do our part and comply with all Alert Level requirements, to ensure the ongoing safety of our staff and customers.
From Wednesday 8 September 2021 we will be operating under Alert Level 2 requirements. This means customers will be permitted to visit our dealerships and business can return to more recognisable practices. Increased safety protocols will be in place including, physical distancing, the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), enhanced sanitisation and contact tracing registration for visitors. You can now arrange the use of a loan vehicle after you drop your vehicle off in a secure zone at the dealership, this can be arranged in advance, please discuss the option when you make your booking.
Vehicle Parts
Bayswater Parts Centres are OPEN FOR BUSINESS for all vehicle parts, retail and trade sales. As with our vehicle service centres, from Wednesday 8 September 2021, customers may visit the dealership as long as they observe Alert Level 2 procedures.

Vehicle Sales
Bayswater Sales Teams (including Hawkes Bay BMW and Manawatu BMW) are OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
The requirements of Alert Level 2 for vehicle sales mean that our retail showrooms can open to the public. Vehicle sales, test drives, trade-in appraisals and documentation can now be completed in a more traditional way however increased safety protocols will be in place. This includes physical distancing, the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), enhanced sanitisation and contact tracing registration for visitors. If you still prefer to conduct contactless business, our digital processes remain in place.
While at Alert Level 2, the safety and wellbeing of everyone is a top priority. We are following the Ministry of Health’s guidelines and have put the following measures in place to keep everyone safe:
- PPE: Our teams will use approved Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when working on your vehicle.
- Contact Tracing: We will digitally collect contact details from all visitors in line with contact tracing guidelines & store that information in a centralised contact register
- Stricter cleaning and sanitation: All dealership and vehicle touchpoints will be thoroughly and regularly cleaned, we'll also be keeping cleaning logs of all vehicles serviced and/or test-driven.
- Social Distancing: Maintaining social distancing amongst our dealership teams when they’re at work.
- Distribute Policies: Clearly documented & distributed policies and guidelines for staff to adhere to.
